RRQ Veted
How do we pick our advisors
Each advisor selected as a trusted RRQ partner goes through a structured vetting process, including a 25-minute interview and multiple layers of review. Some of the key standards we look for are:
Ethics & Integrity – We ask direct questions about how they make recommendations to ensure they are truly committed to acting in your best interest.
Fee Transparency – Advisors must clearly explain how they are compensated, in plain language, and their fee structure must align with the client’s best interest.
Background & Compliance Checks – We conduct an in-depth review using FINRA/BrokerCheck to confirm their record matches what they tell us and is free of serious red flags.
Situational & Planning Review – Advisors walk us through real-world planning scenarios so we can see how they think, communicate, and operate under pressure.
Client-First Mindset – Above all, they must demonstrate genuine care for people and a consistent habit of putting client needs ahead of commissions or products.
Only advisors who meet these standards are invited to participate in our program.

Why Vetting Matters
Most people don’t have the time or expertise to dig into an advisor’s background, fee structure, or track record. That’s where we come in.
Our selection process is designed to:
Filter out advisors who are product-driven or sales-first
Prioritize advisors who act as fiduciaries and explain things in plain language
Give you a higher level of confidence before you ever sit down for a meeting
You’re still in control of who you work with—but you’re not starting from scratch.

Ongoing Monitoring & Feedback
Vetting doesn’t stop once an advisor joins our program.
Here’s what changed:
We periodically review feedback, disclosures, and any new regulatory information.
If a concern arises, we investigate and address it directly with the advisor.
If an advisor falls short of our standards, they can be removed from the RRQ network.
If you ever have a great or disappointing experience with one of our trusted advisors, we want to hear about it. We review every case seriously, and if an advisor no longer meets our standards, they will be removed from the program.

Your Role as an Informed Client
Our vetting process is designed to stack the odds in your favor—but your voice still matters.
We encourage you to:
Ask how your advisor is paid
Ask why each recommendation is being made
Make sure you feel heard, understood, and never rushed
A good advisor will welcome your questions and answer them clearly.

What This Means for You
When you say “yes” on the Retirement Readiness Quiz to speaking with an advisor, you’re not being sent to a random name on a list. You’re being matched with someone who has
been screened for:
Ethics and integrity
Fee transparency
Clean regulatory history
Real planning skill
A genuine, client-first mindset
So you can focus on what matters most: understanding where you stand, protecting what you’ve built, and planning the retirement you actually want.
